Rig Clerk – EPT Spy Island

This is a Full-time position in Prudhoe Bay, AK posted June 16, 2021.

The Drilling Rig Clerk is accountable for performing duties as directed by the Wellsite Leader and Operations Manager. This position is responsible for planning of materials and equipment needs for day to day operations for exploration and drilling activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES* Coordinates the logistics of material and equipment for rig and production operations.* Communicates with the Wellsite Leader and Operations Manager on status of logistics coordination.* Adheres to all federal and state regulatory requirements associated with the shipping of hazardous material* Ensures all data including the daily cost are entered in to Open Wells or Well View for daily report submission.* Manages field tickets received from vendors and ensures proper AFE and paykey numbers are used.* Knowledge with Drilling Rig terminology and able to communicate efficiently with Wellsite Leader and Operations personnel* Maintain good communication with offshore team, including but not limited to:* Third party suppliers and contractors* Logistics and Shore base personnel* Drilling and completion engineers, D&C Technologist* Cost Analyst* HSSE Advisor* Supply Chain Management Any Other Relevant Information* Total commitment to working safely and participating in all HSSE programs.* Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require.* Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.* Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS* Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an offshore Rig Clerk* Must have strong computer skills and be highly organized.* High School Diploma or GED* Must have a valid driver’s license* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and Open Wells.* Must be able to manage time effectively to complete daily assignments.Note to all current employees:It is recommended that all current employees inform their managers when they apply for new positions as leadership will be notified of current employees applying for posted positions.A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:* Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.* Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.* Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.* Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam.* Required to complete and successfully pass a background check.* Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company’s continued operational needs once training is completed.If you need any assistance or a reasonable accommodation to apply for this position, please contact AES Human Resources at: 907-334-1688.
