EssentialUAF Facilities Services Student Assistants work under general direction.

Duties will vary depending on the department/shop which is hiring.

Supervisors from the Division of Maintenance (Plumbing, Alarms, & Insulation; Electrical & Trades; Housing; and HVAC Shops) hire students on an as needed basis.

Typical duties will require: basic computer skills, ability to work with others, ability to follow directions, regular attendance and timeliness, and to meet general expectations expressed by supervisor.

Prior related experience or a strong interest in the trade/field.

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Possess a valid driver’s license.
