Northern Edge Physical Therapy is hiring for a Full-time Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for our Wasilla, AK clinic. The ATC also works in conjunction with team physicians, physical therapists, coaches, parents, athletes and other health professionals to prevent, evaluate, treat and rehabilitate all sports related injuries. Applicants MUST have an active ATC license and maintain it in the state of Alaska. Job Requirements:Perform clinical duties to allow clients efficient access to physical therapy services and specialized programs. Perform clinical tasks with appropriate training and competency to implement therapeutic programs according to an established treatment plan under the guidance and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Responsible for assisting in the development and administration of sports and community programs as appropriate to enhance return to sports injury prevention. Perform all tasks in compliance with the policies and procedures. Assist with the operation of the front office to complete relevant tasks associated with client intake, scheduling, registration and billing.  Must be a graduate of an accredited program for athletic training and maintain ATC licensure in Alaska with good standing. Must participate in competency training to attain advanced skills related to clinical specialized programs. Safe & effective performance of movement and motor learning techniques  Integration of tissue alliance principles (recovery, remobilization, re-center) Effective operation of performance analysis and specialty gym equipment  Postural awareness and stability training with EMG and RUSI Participate in sports and community related programs for injury prevention
