Some office skills are also necessary for specific departments.Duties:UAF Facilities Services Student Assistants work under general direction.

Duties will vary depending on the department which is hiring.

Supervisors from Campus Mail Center/Central Receiving or Custodial Contracts hire students on an as needed basis.

Typical duties will require: basic computer skills, ability to work with others, ability to follow directions, regular attendance and timeliness, and to meet general expectations expressed by supervisor.Facilities Services Student Assistants oftentimes are performing tasks which require general physical activities; handling and moving objects, manual dexterity, physical coordination, strength, stamina, and working indoors or outdoors.
