93-638Job SummaryThe Graphic Artist works as a member of an integrated Communications team by utilizing publication design and production, and graphic art to advance the Mission, Vision and Values of Kenaitze Indian Tribe through the use of print and digital media.Essential FunctionsPaginate multipage periodical print projects including the tribe’s bi-monthly tabloid newspaper, annual report and other external and internal reports.Design flyers, pamphlets, booklets and other printed materials to educate internal and external customers regarding the tribe’s programs, services and events.Design digital communications for use on the tribe’s website, social media accounts, employee e-newsletter and digital signage.Assist with development and utilization of a brand design standard through the use of typography, color and other design elements.Create art including logos and graphics to support the tribe’s print and digital media, signage and branded merchandise.Communicate promptly and professionally with a dynamic workforce that is both culturally and professionally diverse.Complete work as assigned with attention to accuracy, detail, brand standards and deadlines.It is the intent of this job description to highlight the essential functions of the position; however, it is not an all-inclusive list.
