Follow all company protocols for Covid 19  Primary Responsibilities: Estimate food requirements and orders food from supplier or procures food from storage. Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. Follows recipes and portion controls as necessary for the crew. Restocks all items. Cleans and maintains kitchen and dining area in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills. Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all areas of the camp. Performs all other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Education and/or Experience: 2 years’ experience within a kitchen setting with volume production (required). Solid understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills. Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to obtain Food Workers Card http://www.dec.alaska.gov/eh/fss/fwc/fwc_home.html Well-groomed and willing to follow dress requirements. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to create, updates, and manage menus. Must demonstrate a good attitude and the ability to work as a member of a team. Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment, and have a strong attention for detail. Understanding of professional cooking and food handling skills. Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
