Overview

SUMMARY

Our Retail Training Associates creates and generates a rewarding and unique customer service experience through effective coaching of store associates.

The Retail Training Associate is responsible for coaching, exhibiting role model behaviors, and effectively training and onboarding all new store associates within their assigned district.

The Retail Training Associate will work independently, as well as collaboratively with the Field Management, Training Department, and members of various internal departments to coach associates on store processes and procedures and reinforce key business drivers and leverage best practices to increase overall productivity and service levels of our retail store associates.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and deliver a world class training (For example: New Hire Training Orientation) for all new store associates within their assigned district.

Partner with the regional District Manager and Store Team Lead in order to maximize Assist with the development and coaching for new hires and existing retail store associates to include field
– based training programs, refresher training, service delivery models, and Develop and understand retail best practices and be an ambassador for the company, modeling our core values, and retail service delivery Coach associates on effective sales strategies to help them achieve sales goals Build in-depth knowledge of competitor products in order to coach retail associates on Oportun product advantages and differentiating characteristics Deliver formal and informal presentations and reports to retail associates, retail management and internal departments Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

WHAT KEY REQUIREMENTS ARE NEEDED?

Effective coaching and strong interpersonal skills Ability to deliver world class training to a small, medium or large audience Demonstrated ability to understand and coach CLRs on how to effectively deliver customer sales conversations including; calling marketing leads that drive loan applications, as well as gathering quality referrals.

Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Demonstration of personal leadership of the field audience Ability to excel in a team environment Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness High integrity
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BILINGUAL IN SPANISH/ENGLISH IS REQUIRED High School Diploma with some college preferred Valid Driver’s License Three years of proven retail excellence in the financial services or retail Ability to travel up to 25% of time Proficient with MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Must be in current position minimum of six months and in good standing
