– $70k nn nn n nn nn gener8tor’s turnkey platform for the creative economy connects startup founders, musicians, artists, investors, universities and corporations.

The gener8tor platform includes pre-accelerators, accelerators, corporate programming, upskilling, conferences and fellowships.

nn nn n nn nn gBETA accelerates the growth of early-stage companies through its network-driven program.

gBETA Directors recruit local startups, help them grow through applied mentorship, connections and support, operate the accelerator programs, engage alumni, and are gener8tor’s front-line to evangelize the startup communities in which they work.

We are looking for ambitious community advocates whose hunger to support entrepreneurs, connect with mentors and investors, and strengthen the startup ecosystem is never satiated.

The ideal candidate understands discomfort is at the root of all growth and learning, includes process goals in planning, and asks how our actions today will affect people seven generations from now.

gBETA Directors have come from prior careers in journalism, academia, economic development, science, politics, law and nonprofits!

Total devotion to Anchorage and the Alaskan startup ecosystem.

Entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly independent environment and juggle multiple ongoing projects, responsibilities and relationships.

Willingness to intensively and rapidly dive into creating high-growth startups completely from scratch.

Flexibility to travel (as allowed per COVID-19 regulations and work some nights and weekends.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A “no job is beneath me” mentality.

At least one year of program or product management experience is a plus.

nn n nn nn Responsibilities: nn Build relationships with stakeholders (public sector/ government entities, startups, academic institutions, mentors, investors, corporate partners) in Anchorage and nationally.

Over time, build and maintain relationships with program sponsors, and act as the point of contact between program sponsors and gener8tor.

Recruit, vet, and select startup participants for gBETA Anchorage.

Create and streamline program processes.

Plan logistics and execute gBETA Anchorage programs.

Continuously support gBETA Anchorage participants, alumni and partners.

Learn from and collaborate with your gener8tor teammates across other programs: gener8tor, gBETA, gALPHA, OnRamp, Project North, The Brandery, gener8tor Upskilling, NMotion, gener8tor Music, Motown Accelerator and gener8tor Art.
