Store Manager


This is a Full-time position in Anchorage, AK posted June 11, 2021.

Create a high performing selling culture that is focused on the members’ needs/experiences first and foremost by maintaining an appropriate and effective balance between member experience and process functions. Initiates, leads and develops relationships within the community in order to foster new business relationships, a sense of community pride and belonging. Leads team of Specialists and Home Experts in providing total solutions selling for the home through effective leadership, teambuilding, direction and coaching of operational excellence. Responsible for leading the store team in the key areas of process execution, expense management and member experience.

Responsible to lead a team of Home Experts in executing the vision of this store model and achieving overall success. The leader is responsible for overall management and performance of process, operational and selling support functions throughout the store and the development of a collective team to drive sales, profit, member experiences to expectations, build and expand community relevance and develop associates. Recruits, interviews and hires associates based on store needs and plans. Delivers profitable contribution through sales, margin and expense/budget controls.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • Valid Driver License for the State of employment
  • 18 years of age or older

Required Skills:

  • Proven track record in reaching sales goals and managing a profit and loss statement
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team up to 15 people; mentor, lead, coach to achieve expected results in sales and member perception/ referral
  • Extremely detailed
  • Thrives on delivering unexpected member experiences
  • Ability to comfortably use current technology and has a want to stay to up to date innovations
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of retail P & l, operations and processes; analytical skills to diagnose root cause and implement timely solutions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Experience in managing others in a retail, luxury or high demand relationship environment
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency
